I had the pleasure of visiting my pastor's house for dinner. He has three beautiful kids, each with their own personalities.One of them is starting to walk. And on this particular visit, as he was walking, he fell, hit something and began to cry. His parents lifted him up, cuddled him and soon he was on his feet again.
There is a similar story for me. We were at someone's house when I was young. I was running around and sliding on the plastic mats in this person's house. Then all of a sudden I lost control and went head first into a wall. Blood started gushing from my forehead. My father dropped everything he was doing and came to my aid. He lifted me up and took me to hospital.
Our heavenly father is the same. Even though we cannot see him, he is always by your side, every time you fall, he is ready to wipe away your tears and pick you back up.
And i know things are really tough for me at the moment, tougher than anything I've ever been through... but I know these tears will turn to tears of joy one day.
