Movie review: Letters to God
Movie Summary: Tyler writes to God. In his letters, he writes to God about the people in his life, he prays for their salvation, he prays for their wellbeing. But Tyler is very ill with cancer. But his letters to God are prayers and his prayers begin to influence those around him to search for something more meaningful.http://www.letterstogodthemovie.com/
My thoughts: This movie is just what I needed. Those around me have noticed how bitter I have become and what a grave sin I have been committing to those around me. I'm stressed, frustrated and I am being less than graceful. I have been holding a grudge against certain people who have been making my life painful.
This is a must watch movie for believers and non-believers alike. It's an incredibly touching story of love. Tyler even forgives and loves those who mock him after remission. The little kid does an amazing job to move you to tears.
And this is just the wake up call God gave me. If a young boy could forgive those who are so cruel to him and pray for their salvation, surely I can forgive those who take away my worldly things. God has forgiven my bitterness and bad behaviour, so he can also forgive yours.
How do we start? It's easy... it begins with ... "Dear God..."
