Some of you know that I'm going through some personal tough times. I have been crying frequently and it's not because of homesickness. I keep doing the right thing but things keep happening to me.

I have always been loved, I'm nearly always the favourite student, favourite child, best and fairest in sports, the go to person in friendships. So what I am going through now is really difficult. To have someone look at me with disgust everyday. To have someone convey hate with no words. Even writing about it brings me to tears.

I have thought about all the easy ways out. All the easy ways to get out of this situation. But the answer God seems to be giving me is to stick in there. To hang on. To be still.

So the song, He said, really speaks to me. Perseverance is a humbling lesson that I am learning.
