Job ~ same lesson, can I be faithful?

In the last year I have felt like Job. I was blessed with so so so much. I was blessed with beautiful friends, quick progress in my studies, health, etc, my future was seemingly mapped out for me. But things got taken away from me problems with my health, lost my voice, couldn't even walk, huge blows to my academic life, lost friendships, heartbreaks, difficulties with family members, problems with my future career plans...

Job 1:20-22

New International Version (NIV)
20 At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship 21 and said:
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
   and naked I will depart.[a]
The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away;
may the name of the LORD be praised.”
22 In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.

It hasn't been easy to be thankful, especially when things aren't easy. But lately, this has become easier. When things don't go my way, it has become easier to be thankful and to understand God has plans for me. And rejection, obstacles and challenges are just part of those plans. Do not let the devil get a foothold. Of course I don't know his plans, and I don't know if this life will get any easier, and that's ok. What I do know is that my God loves me and I have to trust in his wisdom, his timing.

Job 42:12a: The LORD blessed the latter part of Job's life more than the first.

Hope I can report back soon about some new blessings he has given me :)

Blessed Be Your Name
In the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your name

Blessed Be Your name
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed Be Your name

Every blessing You pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

Blessed be Your name
When the sun's shining down on me
When the world's 'all as it should be'
Blessed be Your name

Blessed be Your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there's pain in the offering
Blessed be Your name
