It's tradition to offer new years greetings in for the lunar new year. 

So here it is, Happy Chinese New Year! May the year of the dragon bring luck. May you be blessed with the energy of a horse/dragon (just heaps and heaps of energy), may you enjoy both fortune and blessings. May your travels be safe, may things go according to plan, may you always enjoy safety, may you always have things in abundance. Most importantly, may the grace of God be with you and safety be with you always. 

We are Christians should value family. And to me, that's what Chinese New Years is all about. It's about celebrating with them, and being thankful for their presence. While there maybe other traditions full of superstitions, it's unnecessary to give in to them. The best gift we can give our loved ones this season is not red pockets or superficial greetings. Indeed, it's the gift of knowing about God's grace. What are you waiting for? GO FOR IT, BE A BLESSING!
